more central america!

The last few weeks have been really fun! I have managed to luck into a couple of big south swells, which is normally unheard of as it’s meant to be the off season!!!
I have been really lucky with my boards as well. Still having then all in one piece, no snappers! I just a quick big up to everyone at Quiver Surfboards, For putting in all the time and effort to produce such high quality boards.
I have been experimenting with my Go Pro HD camera recently. I have mounted it to the tail of my surf board, I have found it works best on my arm on a bicep strap.
Here is a short clip more to come in a few weeks?

Its been had surfing with it on my arm, It just a unnatural movement when you stop paddling turn on the camera then have to start all over again and some one has probably snaked to in the time you have done it.
But its been fun just takes a little bit of getting used to? Its like being on your own personal shoot, I only seem to take off on the ones I know are going to barrel!

This is one of the bigger ones of the day, I just couldn't come out the doggy dog.

There will be more to come so please follow me?

Just short boards and central american barrels!

I have been in Central America for a month now and have been scoring some really sick waves! Mostly just been surfing beach breaks and the odd river mouth or too!

This is the first trip where I have not taken a longboard away with me. I just wanted to get away & surf some hollow beach breaks? Well I can tell you that in the last month, I have defiantly done just that.

The Quiver boards that I got just before I left are going so sick, my favourite is the shortest board I have ever ridden, a 5’8 epoxy hart attack quad. The other boards I have taken away are 5’11 heart attack 5 fin setup. 6’0 dirty truck & a 6’0 barrel board, with heavy epoxy glass job.

I have fixed a Go Pro HD camera to the back off my board so a short film about my trip will be on this page soon.

I have a month left out here, so watch this space for more go pro fottage, photos and videos

Testing out the new Antoine Delpero performance noserider

I got chance to try out the new Antoine Delpero performance nose rider, while away in Europe in between contests.
Here is a short video of what it went like.

European Longboard tour, Morocco

The European Longboard Tour with only two contests left on the circuit and Adam sitting in fifth place on the tour. The first contest was in northern Morocco & the second being in Lisbon, Portugal.

Short video of Adam free surfing in Morocco.

"I decided it was going too be better to drive. We had a week before the contest to surf and drive to Morocco. With the help of Brittany Ferries we caught the Plymouth to Santander, ferry which cut out the hole of France. We left on a Thursday and About 5 days later we turned up in Morocco After driving 1500 miles and stopping for a few surfs on the way down. Just a day or two before the contest. The contest started on the weekend and the waves were small but fun. I made the semi Finals finishing joint 7th. In a very hard semi final against Remi Aruzo, Ben Skinner & Ed Delpero. With A few extra points towards my overall finishing position and a bit off prize money. We packed our bags and headed to Portugal for the final contest of the tour.

North East England.

After a October with no waves Adam & Luke Hart, decided to go on a short 3 day surf trip. We didn't really manage to get much footage, but got one or two waves on camera. Here a picture that a local photographer got of me.

European Longboard tour 2010

Adam has just finished 3rd in the second event of the European longboard tour. He narrowly missed out on making the final by 0.15. in the man on man, semi finals. The next event will be at watergate, U.K. On the first weekend of October. Where Adam is hoping that a bit of local knowledge will help towards a win in the next event.
